Miguel Concepcion

Pennsylvania State Director

Mr. Concepcion was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and came to Philadelphia at the age of 12. He earned his high school diploma from Mastbaum Area Vocational Technical High School with a concentration in Accounting. During his years at Mastbaum, Miguel was part of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) where he represented his school and the City of Philadelphia in an Accounting competition where he earned third place statewide. Miguel is currently accomplishing his Baccalaureate degree at Rosemont College Graduate and Professional studies school in Organizational Development. Prior to his appointment at Democracia USA, Miguel worked for Congreso De Latinos Unidos at PASOS Hacia el Futuro as the Program Coordinator. Mr. Concepcion also worked for ASPIRA, Inc. of Pennsylvania as the Youth Development Coordinator leading the Leadership department of the agency. Miguel started with Democracia USA as Pennsylvania State Coordinator in May 2008.
