Patti Philips Sharp

Senior Director of Operations and Finance

Patricia Philips Sharp was born in Florida and spent her most of her childhood in Frostproof. She received both her Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees from the University of Florida.

Patti has worked in issue and candidate campaigns for over 30 years. As a consultant since 1988, she has provided a wide range of services to candidates for Florida House, County Commission, School Board, Congress, and Mayor as well as various advocacy groups including targeting, press relations, public speaking, fundraising, data management, field strategies, message, design and implementation of proactive vote-by-mail programs, early vote programs and GOTV programs, mail design and traffic, compliance, budget, financial reporting, and management. She was the Central Florida Regional Coordinator for House Victory 2000, responsible for plan development and implementation for 8 candidates in the region. During the 2004 election cycle, she was the Executive Director for America Coming Together of Central Florida and has managed extensive staff and field program in Orange, Osceola, Brevard, and Volusia. She was a classroom teacher, the Operations Manager of the Florida Radio Network and an aide to Orange County Commissioner. She has also done field research in Gainesville, San Francisco, and was an interim instructor at the University of Florida.

Patti joined D-USA in 2006 as the National Operations Manager.
