Juliana Garcia is a shinning star at Democracia U.S.A.; she has a very unique and distinguishable personality which people find difficult to resist. Juliana, Colombian by birth and American by choice; migrated to the United States 5 years ago after she and her family received death threats from the Colombian guerilla rebels. However, before moving to the United States, she earned several degrees in multiple disciplines that range from a Bachelors' degree in Education to a Masters' degree in Research, Measurement and Evaluation. Since arriving in the United States, she feels that the best way to empower Hispanic people is through a unified voice. Juliana has established a long list of goals she would like to achieve, including a stronger effort to unite the Hispanic population in the United States. Juliana would also like to able to help build a community that is better educated and better represented in the United States political system.
